Eligibility Criterion:
The Directorate of Technical Education stipulates a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Science in Std X or an equivalent examination. Candidates for Automobile Engineering should be 16 years of age as on July 1 of the year of application.

 

How to Apply:
The Prospectus and Application Form are priced at Rs 200/- and are available from the Admissions Office of IMPACT Polytechnic. A student can submit the duly filled form at the office before the last date specified by the College in order to be considered for admission.

 

Admission:
IMPACT Polytechnic is interested in qualified candidates who exemplify evidence of sound scholarship and the potential to succeed as engineers. Admission is granted after careful assessment of the credentials of the candidate besides his basic qualifying marks. A personal interview is also required as part of the admissions process.

 

Government Quota
The admission will be based on merit in the Government allotted seats with due reservation for all categories as specified by the Government of Karnataka. Seat allotment for Government Quota will be made by a selection committee appointed by the Directorate of Technical Education in a centralized admission process across the State of Karnataka.

 

Management Quota
Direct admission under the management quota may be availed by making an application to the College admissions office. As a Christian minority institution, 50% of the seats are reserved for allotment to students who qualify as Karnataka Christian Minority at concessional fees. The college also offers scholarships under the management quota for students with exceptional academic record.
