Overview

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year 2004. It includes designing and development of applications. Emphasis is given to apply mathematics and principles of computing to solve Engineering problems. The curriculum offers subjects such as big data analytics, machine learning, cryptography, artificial intelligence, Digital Image Processing, internet of things, and high performance computing to keep them in sync with advances in technology, and prepare them for lifelong learning. The curriculum is designed to provide online courses by reputed international universities. CS&E graduates cater to the needs of most industries, including software, healthcare, communications, manufacturing, automobile to name a few.

All faculties are experienced, passionate and curious individuals. They are the most distinguished scholars, who constantly do research in their respective fields.
Class rooms and Laboratory are provided with well-equipped projectors and internet facilities with 100Mbps

Program Objectives

  1. The graduates would have strong foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals and practices necessary to formulate, solve and analyse engineering problems which enables them for higher education, research and development activities.
  2. An ability to design and analyse algorithms by applying theoretical concepts to build complex and computer- based systems in the domain of System Software, Computer Networks & Security, Web technologies, Data Science Analytics and its visualisation.
  3. Be able to develop various software solutions by applying the techniques of Data Base Management, Complex Mathematical Models, Software Engineering practices and Machine Learning with Artificial Intelligence.
  4. Become effective collaborators and exhibit high level of professionalism by leading or participating in addressing technical, business, environmental and societal challenges.

  1. The Department offers B.E., M.Tech., and Ph.D. courses in Computer Science and Engineering providing adequate facilities to support these teaching activities. Students of the department have access to sufficient high end computing facilities.
