Yoga

It was first started by our present Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. He celebrated Yoga Day for the first time on June 21 in 2015, after which Yoga Day started being celebrated all over the world on June 15, and it turned into International Yoga Day. Since then, Yoga Day has been celebrated every year by the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in India.
To inculcate healthy habits and to enlighten our Students and Staff about the benefits of YOGA, our esteemed Institution ICEAS organized an International YOGA DAY ON 21/06/2023.

Communy Living Camp

Community Living camp is conducted at a rural area near by colleges. Camp provides students with a community of caring adults , who nurture experiential education that results in self-respect and appreciation for human value. The outcome brings in self-identity, self-worth, self-esteem, leadership, and self-respect build personal competencies. These personal competencies are reflected in the camp community.

As a compulsory programme of UG Curriculum, BENGALURU CITY UNIVERSITY the teacher trainees are required to attend three-day Camp titled, ‘THE COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP’. In this connection, The Impact Institute of Management Studies in association with NSS Unit, BCU organized three day camp for the ICEAS students.

The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Impact Group of Institutions has organized “The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” on 26th June 2023, for all ICEAS Students at 11:00 A.m, in Auditorium. The resource person was DAYANANDA, IPS Commissioner of Police.
The objective of organizing this program is to achieving a world free of drug abuse.

The aim of this year’s campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of treating people who use drugs with respect and empathy; providing evidence-based, voluntary services for all; offering alternatives to punishment; prioritizing prevention; and leading with compassion.

The campaign also aims to combat stigma and discrimination against people who use drugs by promoting language and attitudes that are respectful and non-judgmental.

World Environment Day

This special occasion of World Environment Day has organized and celebrated by ICEAS on 5th June 2023 in ICEAS Garden area, honourable Baby Mathula – Management of ICEAS and Dr. ALice Abraham-President ICEAS planted a plant in the garden area to encourage the Students to create awareness action for the protection of Environment.

Above all the main purpose of celebrating this day was to spread awareness. The awareness was about the conservation of our environment.
Moreover to also take various preventive measures to avert the effects of Global warming. Since we all know that Global warming is the root cause of the ruin of our environment. Therefore it is our duty to protect our environment. And stop all the exploitation that is destroying it. Because in the end, it is our basic need for our survival and our generations ahead.

Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the successful Operation Vijay, is celebrated in India on 26 July. On this date in 1999, India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistan. The Kargil war was fought for more than 60 days, ended on 26 July and resulted in loss of life on both the sides. The war ended with India regaining control of all the previously held territory, hence re-establishing the status quo ante bellum.

In Memory of the 527 sacrifices and the innumerable lives which were at stake, Kargil vijay diwas will be organised every year to commemorate the heroes of the kargil war.
Impact Institute Management Studies, in all its glorious year, has never forgotten to respect and honor our national heroes.

Meri Mati Mera Desh

Impact Institute of Management Studies has organized “MERI MATI MERA DESH CAMPAIGN”-11TH AUGUST 2023 for the staff and the Students of ICEAS , at 11:00a.m in college campus..

“Meri Mati Mera Desh” envisions a unified celebration of India’s soil and valour, commemorating the nation’s journey of freedom and progress. By connecting with the land and honoring our heroes, this program will instill a sense of national pride and inspire future generations to protect India’s cherished heritage.

This campaign comprises many activities and ceremonies conducted across the country at Panchayat/Village, Block, Urban Local Body, State and National levels
‘Panch Pran’ Pledge

At the memorial site, people will take a solemn pledge covering Panch Pran of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, affirming their commitment to the country.

National Integration Camp

State NSS Cell, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka, Regional Directorate of NSS, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, Bengaluru City University, National Service Scheme Cell In association with Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi Bengaluru organized National Integration Camp 2023 under the leadership of Professor Lingaraja Gandhi and camp director Dr. Govinda Gowda H.G.

The National Integration Camp 2023 commenced from the 15th of March to the 21st of March 2023 at Gandhi Bhavan. Around 120 Volunteers participated in NIC from various states.
